From the Board of Elections THE MAY 2, 2017 SPECIAL PRIMARY ELECTIONResidents of 19 municipalities are eligible to vote in the May 2nd Special Primary Election. There are 14 issues on the ballot and 1 contested race. The ballot includes 8 school districts and 6 cities with municipal issues.People who wish to cast ballots by mail need to obtain, complete, and return their Vote by Mail applications as soon as possible. Citywide Water Meter Changeover is Coming Residents will start receiving letters from Utility Sales Agency. This company has been hired by the City of Bedford to update the water meters to radio read meters. Utility Sales Agency will be working in one section of the city at a time. This changeover will begin this month and continue throughout 2017.
