It has been a long-standing tradition in Bedford to honor and mourn the men and women who have died serving our great Country. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the City of Bedford has canceled our traditional Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies to comply with the State’s public safety guidelines. It is important to the City of Bedford to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Therefore, the City of Bedford, in collaboration with the Bedford Downtown Alliance, has compiled “The Bedford Memorial Day Remembrance Video” to share with the residents of Bedford and surrounding communities. This remembrance video will serve as a message from Mayor Stan Koci, Bedford City Council members, emergency personnel, business owners, and residents paying their respects to the fallen along with music and images related to Memorial Day.
The Bedford Memorial Day Remembrance Video will be published at http://bedfordoh.gov/memorial-2020 and will be available for viewing starting the morning of Monday, May 25th.
