Throughout 2022 the Parks & Recreation Department expanded programming available for seniors. Many of these new and enhanced programs have been made possible by funding from the Cuyahoga County Division of Senior and Adult Services. The specific funding source is the county’s Community Social Services Program, which currently has funding dedicated to Bedford through December 2023. City officials will re-apply for the next funding cycle (2024-2025) during the 2023 calendar year.
All Bedford residents age 60 and over are encouraged to become a Senior Club member and take advantage of these programs that include congregate meals, lectures, crafts, activities, movies and more! There is no cost to join, however members are required to complete an intake form.
