Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies

Memorial Day Program

Sponsored by the Bedford Veterans Memorial Day Parade Committee.

The Bedford Memorial Day parade is Monday, May 27, 2019 at 10:15 a.m.  The parade begins at Bedford City Hall, 165 Center Road.  Ceremonies will be held at Bedford Public Square on Broadway and conclude at the Bedford Cemetery on Broadway.

The Bedford Memorial Day parade was formed shortly after the Civil War.  This year’s speaker is Martin L. Flask (Navy).  A special presentation on the 75th Anniversary of D-Day will be by Bert Zahn. The Ohio Motor Pool will provide Historic Vehicles from WWII in the parade.  We invite all Veterans, especially WWII Veterans, to attend and walk with us.
