THE NOVEMBER 5, 2019 GENERAL ELECTION

It is time to get prepared to vote in the November 5, 2019 General Election. Voters will decide county, school and municipal issues.  There will be mayors, city council members, School Board seats, judicial and other municipal offices on the ballot.

The voter registration deadline for the November 5th Election is Monday, October 7th at 9:00 p.m. Individuals can register or update their voter registration at our website, www.443vote.us, at all public libraries, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, High Schools, and county Job and Family Services offices. A complete list of voter registration sites can be found on the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website.

Voters are encouraged to verify that their voter registration information reflect their current address prior to selecting one of three methods of casting a ballot:

  • Early In-Person
  • Vote-By-Mail
  • Election Day at your polling location

Early In-Person voting begins on October 8th and is available through November 4th.  Early In-Person voting hours are posted on the Board of Elections website or you may call Board at any time to learn the dates and times Early In-Person voting is available.

A Vote-By-Mail application can be requested by visiting the Board of Elections website and choosing the Vote-By-Mail option located on the home page, or by calling us at 216-443-VOTE (8683). Ballot applications are also available at all public libraries.

Many Polling locations have been changed since last November’s Election.  All voters are advised to confirm their precinct and voting location prior to each election. They may do this by going to www.443vote.us or by calling 216-443-VOTE (8683).

The Board of Elections is actively recruiting Election Officials for the November 5th Election. Earn up to $200 for assisting voters on Election Day.  You may apply online at: www.443vote.us by clicking on the Election Day Officials tab, or call us at (216) 443-VOTE (8683) to apply over the phone.
