Bedford Parks & Recreation Department received word from the Cuyahoga Valley Swim League that the league will not take place this season, due to COVID-19. League officials stated that many communities are not opening pools making meet locations limited. League officials also stated that conducting meets safely would prove to be nearly impossible. Therefore the Bedford Battlesharks Swim Team will take the summer off.
City officials are still in the process of determining if the Bedford Municipal Pool can be opened safely in accordance with new guidelines. As of this time the opening of the pool is postponed.
