CSU “Bridging Bedford”
During the Winter 2024-2025 semester, the City of Bedford was very fortunate to work with Cleveland State University Levin College of Public Affairs and Education graduate students in their final semester to take their classroom knowledge and apply it to a hands-on experience. Through site visits, interviews, presentations and surveys with city officials, Bedford businesses and residents, the result of this work was their creation of a vision for Bedford, titled Bridging Bedford.
Bridging Bedford is a project of Studio 17, a planning studio group comprised of graduate students at the Levin College of Public Affairs and Education at Cleveland State University. Working in multiple phases under the supervision of two urban planning experts, Dr. Thomas Hilde and Mr. James Kastelic, the team at Studio 17 has arranged a comprehensive report and public presentation on our recommendations for the City of Bedford, Ohio.
