Residents of 19 municipalities are eligible to vote in the May 2nd Special Primary Election. There are 14 issues on the ballot and 1 contested race. The ballot includes 8 school districts and 6 cities with municipal issues.

People who wish to cast ballots by mail need to obtain, complete, and return their Vote by Mail applications as soon as possible. To request an application visit:,or call 216-443-VOTE (8683). Vote by Mail ballot applications are also available at all public libraries. The Board of Elections will begin mailing ballots to voters April 4th.

Early voting is available from April 4th through May 1st at the Board of Elections located at 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland.

The voter registration and change of address deadline for the May 2nd Special Election is Monday, April 3rd, at 9:00 p.m. Voters who have not registered, moved, or have changed their name, must complete and return a voter registration card on or before April 3rd. Registration cards are available at all public libraries.
