Contractor Registration

Contractors may register in person from 8-4pm, Monday through Friday OR register online at http://www.citizenserve.com/bedford

**Registration Fees are Non-Refundable

NOTE: WHOEVER COMMENCES WORK IN THE CITY PRIOR TO OBTAINING A VALID REGISTRATION AS REQUIRED SHALL BE FINED TRIPLE THE AMOUNT OF THE REGISTRATION FEE FOR THE FIRST OFFENSE; THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300) FOR THE SECOND OFFENSE; AND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500) FOR THE THIRD AND SUBSEQUENT OFFENSES.

In order to perform work in the City of Bedford Contractors are required to furnish the following:

1) Contractors working in more than one classification must secure a registration for each and every classification.

2) All plumbing, electrical and HVAC contractors shall submit a copy of their current State of Ohio Certificate.

3) Each applicant shall furnish evidence of insurance for bodily injury in the amount of $100,000/$300,000 and $100,000 for property damage.  The City of Bedford shall be listed as additional insured.

4) Complete and return the City of Bedford’s Contractor’s Bond Form in the amount of $15,000.00,  Copies will not be accepted if not applying online.

            NOTE: All applications can be done through our portal at www.citizenserve.com/bedford.

Registration is for the calendar year starting January 1st or any date thereafter during the year, and expires December 31st of the same year.
