A free permit must be obtained prior to the sale of personal property such as a Garage or Yard Sale. A sale must not extend for more than a six (6) day period in any two (2) week period and the hours must be no earlier than 9:00 am and no later than 9:00 pm. A limit of two (2) permits may be issued annually and must be spaced a minimum of six (6) months apart. All property offered for sale must be owned by the resident where the sale is located.
An exception to the above requirements is the occasional sale of no more than five (5) personally owned articles which are not connected in any way with any business operation.
